Broad Street
A rundown 1930s farmhouse is redesigned and modernized while retaining the feel of a bygone era. With design elements carried over from other projects, the project manager and investor clients worked closely together to create an open floor plan with dedicated separate spaces.
01
rundown, crowded house
The farmhouse (most recently used as a rental) needed a complete clean out, yard work, and redesign of the awkward floorplan.
01
Home rescued
The farmhouse is completely redesigned, renovated, and rehabbed - turning a 2 bedroom 1 bath into a 3 bedroom 2 bath.
02
Closed kitchen
With walls on all sides, dated countertops, no modern amenities, and a water heater taking up space, the kitchen was effectively closed.
02
Kitchen expansion
The walls were removed that blocked a view of the kitchen. Along with new butcherblock countertops and stainless-steel appliances, we added new flooring, fixtures, and paint to the renovation.
03
Reimagined laundry room
Old floors, decaying stairs, and sad walls describe just a bit of the problems found at Broad before the redesign and renovation.
03
A whole new entryway
Redesigned laundry room, new back deck, and improved back entryway are some of the many changes. Along with newly designed floors, ceilings, and paint, the difference is remarkable.
04
Office or living room space?
Converting the front room into a den/bedroom and moving the living room to the center of the house by the kitchen, remarkably opened it up.
04
Living, Dining
A den/bedroom with french doors is accessed via the front entry, as is a second bedroom and, moving toward the center of the house, you have the new bathroom and a hallway accessing the living room, kitchen, and the master bedroom.
